A little history...36 years ago while working with a former "Big 8" public accounting firm, Marlene Murphy, certified public accountant, had the opportunity to participate in a unique venture by the firm, developing roles as part time controllers for small to medium size companies. The philosophy of this program was to satisfy the emerging needs of companies that required up to date financial information without the full-time employment of a financial manager that might be too costly for the smaller entity. Carrying on this philosophy, Ms. Murphy and her associates use accounting personnel and techniques to gather and assimilate data to produce financial information and tax products needed to help companies succeed and meet governmental requirements.
